Neighborhood Wisdom

I imagine one reason contemporary astrologers have trouble with the spiritual aspects of 3H (as opposed to 9H) is the fault of our spiritually benighted civilization.

The “neighborhood” (3H) is rarely a meaningful place. To find meaning in life, we must “travel” for it (9H).

I don’t necessarily mean that literally, though of course many Western people with disposable income do use literal airplane travel to find the Meaning of Life™ for lack of other options. But really I’m speaking of the cultural tourism of foreign spiritual practices.

It takes a lot of wrestling with that (trust me on this) to actually find FOR YOURSELF the conclusion that these traditions ironically provide people:

The Meaning of Life™ (9H) was right in your neighborhood (3H) all along.

But that doesn’t let the local culture off the hook.

It is, unquestionably, a FAILURE of a cultural-religious system to do such a poor job of instilling this wisdom.

And I suspect the highly 9H (☉) nature of religious institutions driven by expansion, extraction, disembodied growth.

Infinite Sun. Zero Moon.
