Planetary Hours in Daily Practice
Here’s the kind of thing planetary hours are for, in my experience:
I need to write a letter that puts a lot of Big Stuff concisely into words.
Today is Mars Day, which I expect to help push things forward. I work on regular stuff for the first couple hours. Then I need a break.
I get up, go outside, and walk into the woods, as I am wont to do. I let things go quiet for the first time all morning. Seconds later, I receive a verbal thought: “Write the letter tomorrow.”
I check my watch. It is the stroke of Mercury Hour. Mercury day is tomorrow.
So I say, “Thanks, Mercury. Today I will find a time in your hour tomorrow when you are well positioned, and at that time, I will petition you for Mercury Help, and then I will write the letter.”
Mercury says, “No prob.”
Now I have confidence in doing this task, AND it’s off my plate for Mars Day, so I can plow ahead, riding the lift I’ve gotten from getting one thing checked off for free.
🙏📿🪔☿
(of course, it’s not “for free” because I’ve been diligently tending to my Mercury relationship)
(Uranus was also exactly on the MC at the time, but we’ll talk about that later.)
Anyway, I wrote the letter. Pretty damn good letter.
