Synchronicity

Synchronicity is one of the most confused and fraught concepts anywhere near spirituality these days, from my POV.

I feel like there’s something incredibly subtle happening in there in this matrix of things that are physical or psychological, vs. things that are real or unreal, and it’s so easy to muddle those axes.

My own tl;dr on synchronicities is that their individual psychological significance is the product of an immature perspective, but people really don’t like hearing that.

You could do worse for a single-word description of ALL REALITY than “synchronicity” — everything that happens, all at once — and from that perspective, no two (or even 12) things happening at once should be any more surprising than anything else.

This is just HOW THE WORLD IS.

So it’s WONDERFUL to start noticing synchronicity, because it’s waking up to the interconnectedness of everything! Hooray! Life is beautiful! But the number 37 isn’t popping up all over because of you. It’s just one of the first real things you noticed.
