Knowing How to Clean

I do feel pretty sure that the couple forms of divination I encountered, learned, and practiced in my second Jupiter cycle were indeed sent to me to prepare me to finally learn astrology.

It’s not that they were inherently more basic. It’s that they could teach me the foundations in a relatively isolated, self-guided way, which was more appropriate to the lineages I had, and which was a necessary prerequisite for initiation into the astrological lineages I needed.

My soul’s yearning for the sky and planets was always obvious and part of my imagination, play, and learning, but all that time, I was being trained in similarly self-guided communion with the interplanetary Divine medium, which was also a prerequisite.

But the most important factor in my receptivity to learning astrology was the maturation of my responsibility to my existing lineages, which was not a matter of bar mitzvah at the first Jupiter return or betrothing at the second, but of establishing as a householder at the third.

Responsible practice as a medium requires clean reception, integration, and transmission.

That requires clean connections inward and outward in all directions.

It also requires knowing how to clean.

You learn to clean by finishing dirty work, seeking more, and taking it on.
