I’ve Seen Enough
There’s this “I’ve seen enough” point I can’t stop thinking about.
It’s the starting point of great faith, and it comes after a point of great doubt, which is also interesting.
The conversations and company I want to have are in that “I’ve seen enough” great faith place.
This doesn’t bode well for me as any kind of teacher, lmao.
(It doesn’t apply to my children, of course.)
I’m married to a meet-people-where-they’re-at teacher-type person, so you get it if you’re in our vicinity.
But I’m pretty quiet most of the time we’re with people. Listening, for sure, but not really drawn in.
After a certain point, though, that changes completely.
That point is where I can tell a person is lightly holding their language and views, because they know they’re so incomplete it’s almost funny to even try.
“I’ve seen enough” is a humorous moment.
“Getting it” is in the sense of a joke.
